We are very pleased to advise that Dr. Romel Daniel is listed as recipient of an OBE (Order of the British Empire) on the Queen's Birthday Honours list, for services to medicine. Romel is, of course, father of our star swimmers Joshua Runako Daniel and Jyasi Daniel, and husband of SLASA Executive member, Dr. Leslie Bishop-Daniel.
I am sure that you will all join me us congratulating Romel on this wonderful recognition of his hard work and commitment.
