Congratulations to all our SHARKS Swimmers, YOU DID IT! Once again we were crowned Short Course National Champions and our Girls Team were Girls Team Champions and our Boys finished 3rd. Most important we had several outstanding swims and our team of 38 swimmers recorded an ASTOUNDING 175 Personal Best Times, along with 4 NEW Age Group Records (1 for Jyasi Daniel & Katelin Samuel & 2 for Eden Crick). THAT IS AWESOMMEEEEEEEE!!!
We have also once again had the most swimmers selected to represent St. Lucia at the OECS Swimming Championships, and they will be formally introduced to the press and SLASA Members at the pool on Sunday @ 1 pm.
Parents we need everyone's help to raise the necessary funds to send our 2012 St. Lucia National OECS Team to Antigua this year. The Goal is $75,000 and we are almost half way there. We have one more month to raise the finds and our swim club will be having some fundraisers over the next 3-4 week period to assist.
Please see attached a letter from our Club President with details for A BAKE SALE next week Saturday, October 20th at the JQ Mall in Rodney Bay. Please assist with donations in kind or by volunteering some of your time to help at the table.
Looking forward to a great month of swimming and hope you all will be a part of our efforts to get our SHARKS swimmers and their teammates to the OECS Championships in Antigua next month.
