The Fifth Friday Fun Practice is AT THE AQUATIC CENTRE not on the beach.
Thank you John for pointing that out.

Fifth Friday of the month AT THE AQUATIC CENTRE!
Fifth Friday of the month Fun Day
Hi all,
As this is the fifth Friday of the month, we are gathering all of our Competitive Beginners (Coach Tom), Juniors (Coach Jamie) and Seniors (Coach Jamie) from 4:30 - 5:30 for a Fifth Friday of the month Fun Day! Everyone is invited. Meet the newest assistant coaches for this year, Coach Bailey, Coach Zoe, and Coach Claire.
At 5:00 PM, Coach Jamie would like to address the parents with an update on how things have been going. Parents, please make a point of attending at 5:00 when you come to pick up your kids.
Also, don't forget, October fees are now due! Please have all fees paid by October 1st. Thank you to those who have already paid.

Lettre from Jamie
To All Sharks Parents:
This years OECS Meet has suddenly landed on our doorstep and we are preparing to accept the responsibility of running a successful OECS meet as a club (we will of course ask for all the clubs in our swimming community to assist); quite a responsibility, but certainly achievable.
I don't think I've taken the time to explain to any of you what a well run OECS Meet meant to me in my time as a young swimmer. Of course at those times I was oblivious to all the background effort it took to run a successful meet, but what I do know now, is the lasting friendships and motivation this meet was responsible for creating.
This is OUR championship meet, the OECS family, and this is the foundation that has and will build a road for our young Sharks & St. Lucian swimmers to recognize what a commitment to excellence and true sportsmanship can teach them. I am forever grateful for my experiences at the OECS level of swimming, and some of my best memories came from this meet, including very recent ones of many smiling faces from a great organized meet by Sea Jays swim club earlier this year.
I ask that each one of you in some capacity accept the challenge of offering a helping hand in whatever capacity you can and being a part of creating and moulding some very special memories for our young swimmers.
This is a 2 month project that will require an immediate response as we have to build our various committees and delegate the necessary tasks at hand to start bringing the 2011 OECS meet to life. Let's all make this happen together and prove to our children the potential of unity and team work.
Thank you for your consideration and I hope to hear from each one of you by Thursday of this week (September 16th).
Kind Regards
Jamie Peterkin
